THE
FOUNDERS OF EKPACO: Ekiti
Parapo College (EKPACO), Ido-Ekiti,
Nigeria, a co-educational
institution, was the product of the
loyal and patriotic sons and
daughters of Ekitiland under the
collaboration of Ekiti Progressive
Union (EPU) and Ekiti National
Association (ENA) worldwide.
Prior to the College's founding
in 1954, Ekiti Division (now Ekiti
State) in the old Ondo Province
(now Ondo State of Nigeria) only
had one Secondary School - Christ
School (a missionary high school).
With the establishment of Ekiti
Parapo College, Ekitiland
was proud to have gotten the first
community high school. This
remained for a very long
period of time as the
first-and-only High School ever
established by the joint efforts
of all the loving and caring Ekiti sons and daughters.
"Knowledge, indeed, is light and
power..."
To Ekiti State, we, Ekiti
Parapo College (EKPACO) old
students, salute you as, "The
Fountain of Knowledge".
